Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) and single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) offer less invasive options. This study explored patient selection for NOTES and SILS versus traditional laparoscopy, finding both techniques feasible for selected patients.

    • Randomized trials are essential to compare the safety and efficacy of SILS/NOTES against traditional laparoscopy.
