Pregnancy does not enhance volatile anesthetic sensitivity on the brain: an electroencephalographic analysis study

Pregnancy does not enhance the hypnotic effect of sevoflurane, challenging previous theories. Electroencephalographic studies show no significant differences in anesthetic brain effects between pregnant and nonpregnant women.
