Erythropoietin-producing hepatocellular carcinoma receptor (Eph) and its ligand, Eph receptor-interacting protein (Ephrin) were first discovered in the human carcinoma cell line, hence the name. Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the association between ezrin expression and clinicopathologic features in RCC.
  • To evaluate the utility of ezrin as a diagnostic marker for differentiating RCC subtypes.

  • Immunohistochemical analysis of ezrin expression in 78 renal cell carcinoma (RCC) tumor samples.
