A scalable healthcare information system based on a service-oriented architecture

This study presents a scalable Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based healthcare information system (HIS) for National Taiwan University Hospital. The SOA HIS demonstrates excellent performance and scalability for demanding healthcare environments.
