[Syntopy of the pancreas]

Resulting from the examination of 309 patients, the author has established that the pancreas could displace to the region of the lesser sac with ensuing impairement of the blood outflow through the mesenteric veins. This causes the development of venous circulation disease of the abdominal organs.
