Abstract:
The rationale for orthodontic/surgical management of dentofacial deformities was reviewed for single and double jaw problems. Coordinated interdisciplinary work-ups and treatment modalities can produce predictable results. In well-selected cases, esthetics and functional stability are greatly enhanced by the combined technique.
