[Reorganization of public health services and the lessons from the past]

The paper addresses the issues related to the restructuring of health services at the present stage of society development, improvement of forms and methods of management. A historical background of new reforms is given. It is shown that not always the restructuring of the existing public health management system leads to positive results.
