The Mammary Glands

The female breast is a hemispheric projection of variable size positioned anterior to the pectoralis major and serratus anterior muscles. A fascia layer composed of dense, irregular connective tissue connects it to these muscles.

Summary

Nipple hypertrophy, a condition more common in Asian populations, can now be safely and effectively treated with a simplified surgical technique. This method addresses both nipple projection and width, preserving function and achieving excellent aesthetic outcomes.
