Cerebral blood flow and cognitive function in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome

Summary

Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is linked to reduced cerebral blood flow (CBF) and impaired verbal memory. Lower oxygen levels during sleep correlate with these deficits, particularly in the left frontal and temporal lobes.
