Abstract:
A case of deep vein thrombosis of the axillary vein treated with local thrombolytic therapy with streptokinase in a superficial vein of the hand and controlled phlebographically, is reported. Therapeutic effectiveness, simplicity of the method and absence of hemorrhagic complications are underlined.
