[Diagnostic pitfalls: apropos of a case of renal aneurysm]
Abstract:
The authors report a case of right renal aneurysm in a 49-year-old woman. The initial diagnosis was ignored, the symptoms being correlated with cholelithiasis. CT scan revealed a "cystic calcified lesion" of the kidney. Nephrectomy was performed and symptoms were released. Symptoms, diagnosis and pathology of this uncommon disease are reviewed.
