A new bone-seeking compound, 99mTc-HEDTMP (N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethlenediamine-1,1,2-tri(methylene phosphonic acid)), shows high skeletal uptake and clear imaging in animal studies. This radiopharmaceutical is a promising candidate for skeleton scintigraphy and bone disease diagnosis.
