Abstract:
A combination of staffing and process changes have enabled the EDs of the Bon Secours system to deliver on a "no-wait" promise to patients. All patients are now greeted by an RN. Floaters provide backup if several patients present at once. Protocols were streamlined to aid in the speedup of patient flow. Patients are provided an information folder that gives them contact information for their comments on the new system.
