[Apophyseal rupture of the tibial tuberosity in skiing]

Injuries of the tibial apophyse are a common problem. The combination of Osgood-Schlatter disease with such a partial fracture of the tibial apophyse is unusual. Mechanism, different types and treatment are discussed on the basis of the literature.
