Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of recombinant alpha-interferon (r IFN-alpha 2b) in combination with melphalan and prednisolone for multiple myeloma patients.
  • To assess response in newly diagnosed, refractory, and relapsing multiple myeloma cases.

  • Three multiple myeloma patients received subcutaneous r IFN-alpha 2b (2 x 10(6) Mu/m2 thrice weekly) for 3-6 months alongside melphalan and prednisolone.
