Psychiatric and neurologic aspects of war: concluding comments on the ARNMD conference

These concluding remarks address some of the main disorders that were described during the 89th Annual Conference of the Association for Research in Nervous and Mental Disease entitled "Psychiatric and Neurologic Aspects of War," held December 16, 2009 at The Rockefeller University, New York, New York. Brief remarks are also made on the roles of clinical scientists to consider some of the diagnostic, therapeutic, and societal elements that were discussed at the conference.
