The relationship between postprandial bile acid concentration, GLP-1, PYY and ghrelin

Specific bile acids influence gut hormone release. Peptide YY (PYY) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) correlated with chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA) variants, while ghrelin correlated with deoxycholic acid (DCA) variants after a test meal.
