Protecting cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity with cimetidine does not affect antitumor activity

Cimetidine prevents kidney damage from cisplatin chemotherapy without reducing its cancer-fighting ability. This study shows cimetidine protects against cisplatin nephrotoxicity, preserving antitumor effects.
