Liver abscess and empyema due to Lactococcus lactis cremoris

Lactococcus lactis cremoris infections are rare in healthy individuals. This case report details a liver abscess and empyema caused by L. lactis cremoris in an immunocompetent adult, successfully treated with antibiotics and drainage.
