Typhlitis in children with malignancy: a single center experience.

Clostridium difficile infection significantly increases the risk of typhlitis in pediatric cancer patients. Early identification and management of Clostridium difficile infection may help prevent typhlitis in this vulnerable population.

- Clostridium difficile infection is identified as a significant risk factor for typhlitis in children with cancer.
- Further multicenter trials are recommended to validate these findings and inform clinical practice.
