Summary

The GRF-stimulation test effectively identifies growth hormone release in children with constitutional delay but shows poor sensitivity for diagnosing growth hormone deficiency (GHD). It may help differentiate pituitary from hypothalamic disorders but is not recommended for GHD diagnosis due to false positives.
