Objective:
To study the chemical constituents from Radix Boehmeriae.
Methods:
Compounds were isolated by various column chromatographies with silica gel, their structures were elucidated by spectral analysis and chemical evidence.
Results:
Eight compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as emodin (1), emodin-8-O-beta-glucopyranoside (2), physcion (3), polydatin (4), catechin (5), epicatechin (6), potassium nitrate (7), sitosterol (8).
Conclusion:
Among these compounds, 3 -7 are isolated from Radix Boehmeriae for the first time.
