Abstract:
Winner of a 2009 medicine award, the innovative regional memory network, Méotis, has been working since 2002 in Nord-Pas-de-Calais to optimise the care of patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease or related diseases. Neuropsychologists, coordination nurses and liaison psycho-sociologists guide patients, carers and professionals in order to help preserve quality of life at home, participate actively in national experiments and recommendations and draw up targeted action plans contributing to the development of guidelines.
