[Anterior down fracture technique for correction of maxillary protrusion deformities]

In this paper a new technique for correction of maxillary, the anterior down fracture technique, protrusion is introduced and operative experience of 21 cases were reported, with one typical case presented in detail. The advantage of this technique and the combination with other orthognathic surgical operations were discussed. We believe that anterior down fracture technique is a new and good procedure for correction of maxillary protrusion, and should be advocated.
