  • 40-60% of individuals show inadequate response to first-line SSRI treatments.
  • Efficacy and adverse effects of second-generation antipsychotics (SGAs) in OCD are not well-established.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy and adverse effects of SGAs as monotherapy or add-on treatment for OCD.
  • Comparison against placebo or other pharmaceutical treatments.

  • Systematic review of double-blind randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
