Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of routine second-trimester transvaginal cervical length ultrasound screening in low-risk singleton pregnancies.

  • A decision analysis model was developed to compare two strategies: no screening vs. routine transvaginal cervical length measurement at 18-24 weeks.
