Summary

Giant, multi-loculated hidrocystomas, a rare variant of hidrocystomas, can grow larger than typical lesions. This case highlights these rare giant hidrocystomas on the eyelids.

Background:

  • Hidrocystomas are benign cystic tumors of the apocrine or eccrine sweat glands.
  • Typical hidrocystomas measure 1-3 mm and rarely exceed 10 mm in diameter.

Observation:

  • This report details a rare case of giant, multi-loculated hidrocystomas.
  • The lesions measured 1-2 cm and were located on both the upper and lower eyelids.

Findings:

  • Giant, multi-loculated hidrocystomas are an uncommon presentation of hidrocystomas.
