  • Preterm birth rate was 5.7%. Male infants generally had higher birth weights than females across gestational weeks.
  • Birth weights in this Chinese cohort were lower compared to North American and Scandinavian populations.

Conclusions:

  • Population-specific BW-GA standards are essential for accurate fetal growth assessment.
