Erlotinib and pantoprazole: a relevant interaction or not?

Therapeutic drug monitoring revealed that high-dose intravenous pantoprazole reduced erlotinib levels. Oral pantoprazole at lower doses allowed erlotinib concentrations to normalize, suggesting a pH-dependent interaction.
