Central serous papillopathy by optic nerve head drusen

Optic disc drusen can cause central serous papillopathy, leading to blurred vision. This case highlights concurrent peripapillary and macular detachment in patients with optic nerve head drusen.

- Fluorescein angiography showed hyperfluorescent foci in the optic discs and arcade.
- Optical coherence tomography confirmed serous detachments around the optic nerve and macula.
- This is the first reported case of concurrent peripapillary and macular detachment in a patient with optic disc drusen-associated central serous papillopathy.
Implications:
- Central serous papillopathy (CSP) associated with optic disc drusen can cause significant vision loss.
- CSP should be considered in the differential diagnosis of acute vision loss in patients with optic nerve head drusen.
- This finding expands the understanding of atypical presentations of central serous chorioretinopathy.
