Summary

Deproteinizing enamel with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) before phosphoric acid (H3PO4) etching significantly enhances resin tag penetration and improves enamel surface topography for dental bonding. This method yields superior resin tag quality compared to acid etching alone.
