Background:

Gamma-secretase (γ-secretase) is a key enzyme implicated in Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis.
Modulating γ-secretase activity is a therapeutic strategy for neurodegenerative disorders.
Existing quinazolinone scaffolds serve as starting points for novel modulator development.

Purpose of the Study:

To synthesize and characterize novel styrenyl quinazolinones.
To evaluate the potential of these compounds as gamma-secretase modulators.
To establish structure-activity relationships (SAR) for this chemical class.

Chemical synthesis of a diverse library of styrenyl quinazolinones.
