Summary
We developed a fast, affordable Luminex(®) ×MAP™ genotyping method to analyze Interleukin-6 (IL-6) gene promoter Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs). This method revealed significant IL-6 genetic diversity across diverse ethnic groups, aiding future disease association studies.
