Abstract:
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(5)H(12)N(+)·C(7)H(5)O(6)S(-)·H(2)O, contains a piperidinium cation, one 3-carb-oxy-4-hydroxy-benzene-sulfonate anion and one water mol-ecule. Inter-molecular O-H⋯O, O-H⋯S and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded framework.
