Visualization of HIFU-induced lesion boundaries by axial-shear strain elastography: a feasibility study

This study demonstrates that axial-shear strain elastography (ASSE) reliably visualizes high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) lesion boundaries. ASSE offers a more robust method for lesion area estimation and improved visualization of untreated regions between HIFU lesions.
