Metastatic melanoma was identified in a patient's supraclavicular node and thyroid gland. F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG PET/CT) imaging also revealed findings of palpation thyroiditis, previously undescribed on this scan.
