Summary

Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) is a safe and effective procedure for enteral feeding and other indications, with a high success rate and low complication rate. This bedside technique offers minimal morbidity, low cost, and insignificant mortality, making it a globally accepted method.
