This case study presents a rare instance of progressive myelo-radiculopathy caused by severe spinal canal stenosis. The stenosis resulted from thickened thoracic laminae and ossified spinal ligaments after trauma.

  • Imaging revealed severe thoracic spinal canal stenosis.

Findings:

  • The stenosis was attributed to hypertrophy of the thoracic laminae and ossification of the ligamentum flavum and posterior longitudinal ligament.
  • Developmental stenosis or significant post-traumatic deformity were absent.

Implications:

  • This case highlights the potential for delayed neurological complications from seemingly minor post-traumatic spinal changes.
