Abstract:
The population aged over 60 years is studied in what concerns with emergency outpatient care demands. The respective demands have been observed within the individual months and days of week as the age distribution of patients was estimated with respect to the reasons of special health care requirements. Markedly higher demands on the outpatient care have been stated on Saturdays and Sundays. Our youngest group [60--64 years] showed higher number of male subjects demanding the mentioned care.
