Summary

This study introduces the fiber continuity (FC) principle for more accurate fiber orientation estimation in diffusion MRI. This method improves tractography and resolves complex fiber crossings using high angular resolution diffusion imaging (HARDI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI).
