Summary

VUB human embryonic stem cell (hESC) lines can spontaneously differentiate into germ cells, with bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) and Sertoli cell conditioned medium (SCCM) enhancing this process for improved in-vitro germ cell differentiation.
