[Extensive intracerebral calcinosis in postoperative hypoparathyroidism]

A case is described of extensive calcifications of basal nuclei and cerebellar nuclei with abundant clinical and radiological findings. The slowly progressive hyperkinetic syndrome and pyramidal damage signs were related to hypoparathyroidism developing after two operations for goitre.
