[Presence and function of polyamines in oral tissue and fluid]

Evidently, polyamines have an active role in normal and pathological processes, with their highest levels occurring in tissues with increased metabolic activity. Furthermore, their presence in buccodental fluids has now been definitely established, and both physiological and biochemical processes are known to be partially regulated by these molecules.
