Summary

Syphilitic aortitis can rarely cause coronary ostial stenosis, even in healthy individuals. This case highlights surgical management for severe stenosis in the left main and right coronary arteries.

  • Bilateral internal thoracic arteries and the gastroepiploic artery were used for bypass.
  • The surgical intervention led to an uneventful recovery.

  • This case underscores the importance of considering syphilitic aortitis in the differential diagnosis of coronary ostial stenosis.
  • Successful surgical revascularization is a viable treatment option for this rare condition.
  • Further research may elucidate the pathogenesis and long-term outcomes of coronary ostial stenosis in syphilitic aortitis.
