[Histopathological study on the demineralized wall of suprabony periodontal pocket]

Histopathological study on thirty human gingiva fragments were carried out to check comparatively some pathological changes occurred at the vertent inward and external of the suprabony periodontal pocket as well as the intensity and nature of leukocyte infiltrate. After histologic prepare the material was analysed on optic microscope. The pathological changes observed were: vacuolar degeneration, hypertrophy-hyperplasia++, metaplasia (gingival sulcus epithelium keratinization), exulceration, ulceration and leucocyte infiltration.
