Cervical orthoses: the issue of patient compliance

A convenience sample of 22 subjects was used to investigate patient compliance between two types of cervical collars, the Stifneck and the Orthotech. There was no significant difference with respect to compliance between the two groups of collar users. Based on these findings, the investigators made recommendations for collar use in their institution.
