  • The procedure was performed with a greatly reduced risk of haemorrhage.
  • Factor VIII concentrate was not required, simplifying patient management.

Implications:

  • Laser technology presents a viable alternative for surgical interventions in haemophiliacs.
  • This modality may reduce the need for costly and complex Factor VIII infusions.
  • Further research into laser applications in haemophilia management is warranted.
