Background:

Soft tissue sarcomas (STS) are rare, heterogeneous tumors requiring complex, multidisciplinary management.
Current lack of consensus multidisciplinary recommendations for STS diagnosis and treatment in Spain hinders optimal patient care.

Framework:

Development of practical therapeutic recommendations for soft tissue sarcomas.
Convening of a multidisciplinary expert group by the Spanish Group for Research in Sarcomas (GEIS).

Implementation:

Compilation of expert meeting results into a comprehensive document.
Inclusion of recommendations for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of STS.

Implications:

Facilitation of improved identification and management of STS in clinical practice.
Potential to enhance therapeutic results for soft tissue sarcoma patients in Spain.
