Disturbed circadian rest/activity rhythms (RARs) in older men are linked to increased cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. Reduced rhythm robustness, indicated by lower amplitude and higher minimum activity, significantly elevates the risk of CVD events, particularly coronary heart disease and stroke.
