This case study highlights a rare instance of a benign renal angiomyolipoma (AML) with tumor thrombus extending into the inferior vena cava (IVC) in a female patient. Surgical intervention is crucial for managing this uncommon complication and preventing further embolic events.

- The patient remained asymptomatic following surgical management.

- This case underscores the importance of surgical intervention for renal AML with IVC thrombus to mitigate risks of malignancy and embolic complications.
- Prompt diagnosis and surgical treatment are warranted for this uncommon presentation of a benign renal tumor.
